How to trick girls in to a date

In the good old days when girls were "dumb"... it was customary for experienced elder bro to advise his younger bro on how to ask a girl out: she will obviously have an answer like "yeah, I have plans already" if you ask on thursday. BUT if you ask her "What you doing this Friday" on monday, surely, she won't have anything in mind.... Leading to her to be unable to refuse...
(yes, several people actually advised me to do this)

so I did, and here's her response:

"uhhh, I don't know yet... But there are a few people I'm asking out... You can check back later"


hehe... some how, she responded in time, and felt perfectly natural to say to me that there plenty of people she'd rather be with...

Anyway, the lesson is... that move only works on really good friends with whom you can insist:

"Who? Who were you going to ask out that you'd rather spend time with than me??!!"
